Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel: monthly plans each month and yearly plans each year, on the day you first paid. We email you 7 days before every yearly renewal (and before monthly ones, if you ask). Cancel in two clicks from your account settings. Prices are per person; taxes are added at checkout where they apply. Payments are handled by Paddle, our reseller.
Questions
- What happens when I use my 3 free transcriptions?
- New files aren't lost. They're saved as Waiting and start the moment you upgrade. The 3 free transcriptions are once per account; they don't come back each day.
- What about recordings longer than 30 minutes on the free plan?
- They're transcribed in full. You see the first 30 minutes, and the rest unlocks if you upgrade. You don't upload anything again.
- Is Unlimited really unlimited?
- It's for one person, with no limit on files. Fair use is 24 hours of audio a day (72 on Max). Above that, files go to a slower queue; they're never refused or cut off.
- When do I get a refund?
- Within 7 days of your first payment, if you've transcribed under 10 hours of audio since paying, you can refund yourself in full from your account settings, once. Within 7 days of a renewal, you can too if you haven't transcribed anything since. Anything else goes to our support team, and a person replies within 1 business day.
- Can I add people?
- Yes. On Unlimited you can invite people by email into your workspace. Each person, you included, is a seat at the same price, $20 a month or $120 a year, on one bill. Everyone gets their own login and a private My files folder, and sees the shared folders. Fair use is per person.
- Is my audio private?
- Yes. Your files are private to your account and encrypted when they're sent and stored. You can delete a file, or your whole account, at any time.
